At the beginning of the 1970s, the family began to build the first ice rink, although smaller than the current one.

The first winter season is a success.

At the end of this season, they create the 30m by 60m ice rink.

In 1976, the current ice rink opens for the first season, but it is different from how we see it today because the roof was built in 1979-80.

In the early 21st century, the family decided to focus on training athletes and sports teams with figure skating, dance, pair skating and hockey.

In 2006 they renewed the roof of the ice rink with better performing materials and also renewed the grandstand and the audio system.

This renovation program concludes in 2015 with the installation of a solar system on the roof of the ice rink.

In 2017 the family began a massive eco-friendly renovation project for the hotel which will be finished for the summer season of 2021
